Jason Williams MPAS, PA-C, M.E. - President and Chief Executive Officer of UCA: Mr. Williams completed his undergraduate studies at Methodist University where he received both a B.S. in Cellular Physiology and B.H.S. in Allied Healthcare. He attended Yale University in New Haven and trained in General Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his education at the University of Nebraska where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Allied Healthcare. Mr. Williams was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2006 from his Alma Mater. His strengths include positive and consistent leadership, negotiation, entropy reversal, change management, high-level problem solving and an unswerving work ethic that is the backbone of his personal and business philosophy. He has consistently built and trained teams of people that are leaders in their departments and fields of business.
Cameron Perkins PA-C, MPAS - Chief Operations Officer of UCA: Mr. Perkins completed his B.H.S. with Honors in Allied Healthcare at Kettering College of Medical Arts in Dayton, Ohio. He received his Masters Degree in Allied Healthcare from the University of Nebraska. He has successfully developed and executed business plans for new centers, existing centers, and commercial properties. This includes site development, property acquisition, architectural design and construction oversight, staff recruitment and training, marketing, and contract negotiations during his five years with UCA. Mr. Perkins has been intimately involved in development and success of each of the existing centers. He continues to assess, test, and integrate new technologies and revenue generating systems in our centers.
Katrina Catto - Vice-President of Operations of UCA: Ms. Catto completed her B.A. in accounting with Honors at Strayer University in Morrisville, N.C. She presently oversees daily operations and has a unique ability to unify and lead our health care team at each location with her commitment and dedication. She has a broad skill base across our health care association. She holds advanced training in marketing, financial planning, Human Resource Management, and grant writing. She has been with the organization for five years and is an integral part of our past, present, and future systems implementation.
Jerry C. Creech, Controller of UCA: Mr. Creech completed his B.S. in Business Administration and received his Masters Degree in the Science of Accounting while attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He comes to the organization with experience in managing the operational finance for multiple long-term and home-health providers throughout the Carolinas. During this time he provided oversight for treasury management, financial projections, reimbursement, purchasing and internal control processes. He has also worked for KPMG LLP providing control based financial assurance services for SEC clients. He has the ability to effectively work with all members of the organization to understand and analyze results while communicating financial performance and projections to senior management.
Reuel Heyden - Director of Community Relations of UCA: Mr. Heyden currently oversees the areas of communications, community relations, marketing (website, in-clinic, advertising, PR), customer service, sales and charitable donation efforts for UCA. With a B.S. in Communications from Liberty University, he has a diverse background of experience including hospitality, marketing, public relations and management working with such companies as the DMC Network, an international network of destination management companies, and Isha Developments a development company with both commercial and residential subsidiaries. Nena Reeves - Director of Business Development of UCA: Mrs. Reeves is presently the President & CEO of a Home Care Agency in Missouri providing services to persons with disabilities. She is the former President & CEO of Health Services Personnel, a home care company in NC employing over 800 employees and serving thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. She has served in leadership capacities on numerous boards and committees and was the first recipient of the NC Association for Home and Hospice Care Administrator of the Year award. Mrs. Reeves has been very involved in government affairs, regulatory development and compliance for home care services. Her reputation for quality and ethical practices have made her a respected leader not only among her peers but also within the state DHHS agency. Casey Thomas - IT Specialist of UCA: Mr. Thomas will be the in-house specialist, overseeing computer, printers, scanners, digital x-ray, internet, phone systems inventory as well as other information technology. With expertise in monthly maintenance as a proactive approach, Mr. Thomas will reduce system downtimes and inefficiency. He holds an associate's degree in Computer & Information Science from ECPI College of Technology. Ginger Gregory - Billing Manager of UCA: With an extensive background of medical knowledge, Ms Gregory will oversee all operations of the billing team to continue to provide quality service to new guests in new areas. Ms. Gregory's focus will be on proper billing procedures for accuracy with patient accounts. Her aim is to increase efficiency and decrease patient billing errors.
